Lori Hall

This usually, flippant BLOG is taking time-out to discuss a serious topic that has concerned me for the last couple months.
Here is a really nice picture of my friend Lori. She is 44 and has a Seven-year-old son.
Two years ago, when I came back out here to LA, Lori was fine. A couple weeks ago, we visited with her when we were in Michigan and found her confined to a hospital bed and dependent upon a Bi-Pap breathing machine. Doctors confirmed a diagnosis of Lyme Disease in April, but have since named ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) as a prime suspect.

She is a writer who hasn't had a chance to work because of these illnesses and as a result she is days away from loosing her house. On top of all that she has mind numbing medical expenses.

Relatives and friends have set up a blog dedicated to alleviating some of her financial burden. At the very least keeping her house.

I urge all three of my readers to, at least, visit this BLOG and do what you think is right.
I'll probably leave this post up for a little while.

Weren't you on' "Shakes the clown?"

Yesterday we were nodded at by the Emmys. This is a picture of me and Flo at the Musician's cocktail reception. (What the heck was she doing there?) (Long story) That piece of paper in my hand is the Emmy certificate that says I was nominated. I was really pretty excited about that.

Saturday is the big night when I find out for sure that we didn't win.

OK here's how it works (I looked it up)
The creative arts Emmy ceremony is this Saturday. The winners will be announced on TV a week later when the other Emmy ceremony airs. Both are prime-time Emmys, it's just that they do the things like best actor and best show live on TV while the effects, music and animation people sit at a card table in the basement.

Wish me luck!

By the way, Flo said that Robert Reed was also very tall.

The Mystery of the toothbrush unflods

You know that story about the couple who went to Jamaica and the camera and the toothbrushes. Look at the photo I found:Just what the hell was going on in my office while I was gone? Apparently there is also film but they aren't showing it to me yet. I'm afraid to use my toothbrush!
