Phineas and Ferb

Incase there’s anyone out there who’s been wondering where I’ve been, here it is. I’ve been busy. Everyday I average between 12 to 16 hours of work on two different projects. Somewhere in there I managed to get two weeks off so that I could go back to Michigan and work on my house.
This picture is on the set of a baked bean commercial my friend Emily was making. It involved a guy, a dog, and some good old-fashioned Burbank in August snow of yesteryear.

Last weekend one of the shows that I’ve been working on aired on the Disney channel. It’s called, “Phineas and Ferb”. Apparently, Disney like the show enough to give it the best seat in the house. They showed it right after High School Musical 2 and Hanna Montana. Needless to say it premiered well. But we all know anything would have done well in that spot. Disney could have run the blue color card for 11 minuets and it would have scored high.
The show, in case you missed it, can be viewed on “Youtube” in two parts. If you want to go there go ahead I’ll wait.

So, did you like it? The good thing is that’s one of the weaker shows. They just get better from there.
The girls liked it!
Soooooo, why a show about summer during the summer, and the real season starts in January? Could it be that they wanted use the internet, and the blogs to get the buzz started so that when the show finally came on the air in January it would already have a huge fan base. Or are they just farting in the wind?
Oh, yeah. And I’ll be laid-off in December, about a month before the show goes on the air for real, for about 3 months.
So, why do they do that? Your guess is as good as mine. Seems to me that if I had a show that was working well I’d try to keep the same crew together. But, what do I know? I’ve only been with Disney for 10 months. I can never know the full existent of their plan.
